ABOUT US
A small non-profit with a simple belief: the most powerful change in any community starts with its youngest members.
Our Mission
---
Seeds of Kindness inspires kindness, compassion, and community engagement in students starting from PreK — providing meaningful volunteer and educational experiences for every grade level.
By planting these seeds early, we cultivate socially conscious, well-rounded young people who are empowered to make a positive impact in their communities.
Our Vision
---
A world where every child grows up compassionate, socially conscious, and empowered to make a positive difference — starting with the seeds of kindness planted in their hearts from a young age.
Our Story
HOW IT
BEGAN
Seeds of Kindness began with a simple idea: children learn best when they experience the impact of their actions. We wanted students to not just hear about kindness, but to feel what it's like to help someone else.
By giving them meaningful opportunities to engage with their communities — starting from PreK — we hoped to nurture empathy, compassion, and a lifelong desire to make a positive difference.
Last year, Seeds of Kindness successfully launched its volunteer program across Westchester County. We partnered with local organizations to provide students with age-appropriate opportunities.
Through these experiences, students discovered the joy of helping others while developing empathy, social responsibility, and a genuine sense of community. The cycle of kindness, once started, keeps growing.

WHAT WE
BELIEVE
Kindness is learned
Empathy is not innate — it's cultivated. When children experience the impact of helping, they carry it for life.
Community is everything
No child, school, or nonprofit can do this alone. We build coalitions that amplify everyone's impact.
Start early
The values we build in PreK shape the adults of tomorrow. We meet children where they are and grow with them.
